If you had to double your customer base in the next 60 days, what marketing channel would you double down on?

I'll talk about ads in a future email, but today, I want to share our outbound system that is helping us generate more than 10 demos a month.

If you’re a SaaS founder, this is one of the simplest, fastest, most scalable growth plays available right now:

  • You can get a high-quality cold email engine up and running for about $1,000 a month (or $3,500 if you hire a freelancer or agency to handle it)
  • Once it's setup, there's no "additional expense" to send more emails (so it's more scalable than ads)
  • Thanks to modern list-building tools, you can reach your entire ICP

Now, blindly spamming your entire ICP isn't going to perform very well (and it will make people hate you).

That's why we apply a specific strategy to our outbound approach.

One of those strategies is the "LinkedIn Competitor Engagement Playbook."

Here’s how we do it today:

  1. We setup a database with Clay
  2. We connect our LinkedIn account to Trigify
  3. Trigify monitors competitor engagement and sends those contacts into Clay
  4. Clay then dynamically enriches the contacts so we can parse through all contacts and generate a list of "ICP leads"
  5. Next, we automate our outbound via Instantly (for email) and Heyreach (for LinkedIn)

So far, we're generating dozens of positive replies every week, leading to a consistent stream of leads and new customers.
